Dr. Boyce provides strategic leadership for the School of Medicine’s biomedical PhD training enterprise and oversees the Office of Biomedical Graduate Education, helping advance our mission to prepare the next generation of biomedical scientists.

Dr. Boyce brings a wealth of experience in graduate education and academic leadership. He serves as director of graduate studies and T32 director for the Cell and Molecular Biology PhD Program and has held numerous leadership roles focused on doctoral education, mentoring, and workforce development. His service as chair of the university-wide review of The Graduate School and as a Graduate Faculty Fellow has provided him with broad insight into graduate education at Duke and across higher education.
