In the event that an individual seeks support for a program not already approved for funding, the following criteria will be used to evaluate the request.
- External/national program specifically targeting faculty in academic medicine
- Clearly defined program objectives that focus on leadership development skills likely to impact the individual’s career development and advancement (courses focused on clinical skills will not be supported by this mechanism)
- Comparable cost to pre-identified programs
Requests are dependent on the availability of funds.
